As an exhibitor, breeder and someone who's hobby it is to study pedigrees, my own Cryobank is an absolutely dream come true on a both a personal and professional level.

Time and distance no longer have to be factored into the breeding choices we make. Great dogs, long lost, can be re-introduced to future generations. It gives me chills just thinking about the possibilities!

Now purely from a business perspective our bank opens up so many more markets and countries for stud owners and their clients.

Services

Semen Freezing

Semen Freezing £200
Includes:

  • Assessment of collection (ejaculate). During this process we will be accessing the volume, sperm count, morphology and motility and the overall viability of the collection. If your boy's collection is not of sufficient quality then we will advise on a regime to get him to a place where it's possible to freeze. If it is not possible to freeze that day a fee of just £45 will be payable.

  • We will advise on the number of straws we should be able to produce from the collection. Semen is stored in 0.5ml straws. Each straw containing roughly 100 million sperm.

  • Once the freezing process is complete a full report including a pre and post thaw analysis will be provided.

  • Your straws will be stored for 6 months free of charge in our cryobank. After that a monthly storage fee will apply (see storage rates).

Optional Supplementary Collection £70 - An additional collection taken one hour after the first.

  • This is then pooled with the first collection to increase the volume of the sample prior to freezing. This should increase the straw production for your boy that day.

NOTE: A fully refundable flask deposit of £150 will be required on all shipments. This will be refunded on the return of an undamaged flask.

Non-UK Semen Distribution £180.00 + shipping

  • Processing and handling fee (to include; preparation of the flask & accompanying documentation & packaging of the straws)

  • Return carriage of shipping flask - price dependent on location

Frozen Semen Arrivals £60.00
Booking in fee - account creation, frozen straw & documentation inspection (up to 40 straws per dog, thereafter straw fee applies)(4 Pellets = 1 Straw)

Straw inspection fee applicable on arrivals containing over 40 straws (per straw/per dog) £1.00
