Fair Hero Microchipping Course

 
 

Fair Hero is incredibly excited to be able to offer our very own microchipping course.  Come join us in our classroom in Doncaster, for the day or book an online session.  

A unique aspect of the Fair Hero Course is we will give you information on ALL the DEFRA approved companies selling microchips.  We will look at the pricing structure, database, microchip and services offered by three providers.  Our aim isn't to sell you microchips or to sign you up with a particular database.  We want to give you the tools to make your own, informed decision, that is best suited to your needs.

Course Structure

The course consists of a theory section and a practical element.  Courses are taught in small groups, in a friendly, relaxed environment. It is important to us that we are able to train in small groups to ensure we go at a pace you're comfortable with.

We are here to support your goals and to ensure you leave us feeling confident. Once the course is completed, know we are here to offer support and answer questions at anytime.

Note:  If you have any special needs that may require additional support we will happily accommodate them where possible.  If you need support with the written portion of the test we can provide someone to work one on one with you.

Remote Training

If you choose to do the course online we will send out a training pack, prior to your session,  you would also need to have two dogs available for microchipping so you can fulfil the practical element of the course.

The cost of the course is £120 (Including VAT) This price includes:

  • Microchip Training Booklet

  • Folder & Information on DEFRA Registered Databases

  • Notebook

  • List of DEFRA Approved Databases

  • Qualification & Certificate of Completion

  • Lanyard: Qualification, Name, Unique ID Code

A start-up kit is available for an additional £50 (Including VAT) This kit includes everything needed to get you started!

I am so excited to share this course with you! I put this training course together personally and had it approved by the vets at DEFRA.  I am passionate about what I do and love to share and educate others. 

I am the owner/founder of Fair Hero Fertility: a successful clinic that has been running for several years now.  I also run a cryobank, shipping frozen canine semen around the world.  I am a licensed breeder and have a very successful show team.  I own and produced a UK and International Champion. 

I am passionate about what I do and am a firm believer that we all have to start somewhere.  For me everyday is a learning day, I am excited to share my knowledge and passion for what I do with you.  Your success is my success, so know I am always here to help x
